Here the king covers you for your financial loss due to the interruption of, or interference with, your business activities, following a loss or damage that you’ve claimed for under fire, buildings combined or office contents insurance.

Business interruption caused directly or indirectly by:

  • Drought.
  • A telecommunications fault of the facility belonging to your premises.
  • Intentional, organised action by a telecommunications provider (with exceptions as noted on your policy schedule).
  • Accidental damage (unless otherwise noted on your policy schedule).
  • Pollution of water.
  • A shortage of fuel, gas or water.
  • Faulty installation of any part belonging to your premises.

  • Consequential loss (except for rent or alternative accommodation).

  • Wars, political acts, terrorism (or any such attempted acts), acts of a foreign enemy, warlike operations, civil war, military uprising, usurped power, martial law, rebellion or revolution (and lawful authority dealing with these).
