So, you’ve referred a friend to us... What happens next?

What needs to happen first

To qualify for your N$1,000 cash payout:
  • Your friend must take out a King Price policy with a monthly premium of at least N$650.
  • Your own policy must be active.

When you’ll get your cash

If your friend joins our kingdom and successfully pays their first full premium (minimum N$650), we’ll pay you N$1,000 cash 30 days later (we use this time to sort out admin stuff).

Super important to note

  • 1 x successful referral = N$1,000 in cash. Ka-ching!
  • You can refer as many friends as you like!
  • You can’t refer the same person more than once or any existing King Price client.
  • This offer is only for King Price clients with personal policies (not staff, sorry).
  • According to the Short-Term Insurance Act No. 4 of 1998, only authorised Financial Institutions or Financial Intermediary (FIs), accredited persons, or mandated FI representatives can give financial advice or offer intermediary services. So, keep it casual and just refer your friend, don’t give financial advice.
  • It’s against the law to offer your friend any kind of incentive (think freebies, promises of biltong etc.) to become a King Price client. You’re also not allowed to make your friend feel as though they have to take out a King Price policy.
  • By sending us your friend’s info, you confirm that they’ve given you permission to share their information with King Price and for King Price to call them. In terms of the Access to Information Act No.8 of 2022, it’s your responsibility to ensure that their consent is valid and informed. King Price reserves the right to claim for any damage, harm, or loss arising from this permission not having been granted.
  • King Price won’t be held responsible for any unlawful actions or false info you share with someone you refer. You don’t have the authority to act on our behalf, make commitments, or promise anything about our products or services.
  • We’ll keep you updated on your referral status via WhatsApp. If you’d like to opt out of getting WhatsApp messages, you can opt out there.
  • By referring a friend, you agree to all of the T’s and C’s set out here.

If things go south

We can take away your referral rights or choose not to follow up on the referrals you send through if you:
  • Keep referring people without asking for their permission.
  • Commit fraud or mislead people (or if we have good reason to believe that you have).
  • Act inappropriately (or if the law says we have to).
  • Don’t stick to our T’s and C’s.
